From building a TikTok Community in early 2020 to working with some of the most prolific artists and labels in the UK. Harry Tatem, the south-coast-based and multi-talented editor, director and photographer has built a name for himself working in the creative field. From the youthful age of 13, the motivated creative taught himself a variety of high-level and refined skills from Direction, Editing, Cinematography and Photography, all through his love and passion for moving images.

 

Studying the art of Film and what it is to become an 'Auteur' is at the root of all his work, with his high-paced, seamless editing styles and unique video direction shining bright in an industry which is often over-saturated with mundane visuals and aesthetics. This unique style and image have seen him build up an impressive clientele of directors, artists and labels including Kelvin Jones, Leon Matthews, DON Prod, Aitch, Berna, A1 x J1, Nemzzz, Namani, CMillano, EMI, Motown, Capitol and many more.

 

Stepping into the creative and music realm of the industry after being approached by the highly proclaimed label: EMI Records. He networked with artists, managers and directors to force himself into the industry all while pursuing his education. His knowledge of TikTok algorithms translated into the virality of his short promotional videos that garnered national success, pushing songs such as 'Dance' by A1 x J1 and '2MS' by Nemzzz into the UK Top 40 charts.

 

However, this only scratched the surface of Harry's future impact in the industry, moving into more notable roles, becoming the editor of Aitch's 'Close to Home' Trailer and music video 'Louis Vuitton'. While also showcasing his work as a talented director in his directing debut of Skee - On Me (C.R.E.A.M). Despite his recent success, Harry has a wider ambition of what he wants to achieve. Pushing his own ideas and aesthetics to become the best creative he can be.
